Prego Di - I'm not aware of anti-pigeon feeding rules, but Italians are very imaginative - and I think, though I'm not sure, I heard that it is now forbidden to feed the pigeons here in Milan.

Yes, they are tree rats. City pigeons are dirty creatures, but then cities are dirty places. County pigeons are much cleaner beasties.
