I thought of doing a post on regional Englishes as well. "Baps" are bread rolls, right? "Becks"? Unless it's something to do with Mr Beckham then I'm clueless.
Here's two for you: "mardy" and "kecks".

About the strange words: Yes, 'baps' are indeed bread rolls - as referred to by people in the NE of England. However, a 'beck' has nothing to do with the footballer bloke! Keep guessing!
Now, your words - 'kecks' are 'undies' or 'trousers' and I think it's Irish English, but I'm not too sure. I have no idea what 'mardy' is though.
